Abu Dhabi: Schoolchildren ‘hurt’ in bus accident

Abu Dhabi: An accident in the UAE capital involving at least two school buses is reported to have left a number of children injured, Gulf News has learnt. 

Sources say the accident occurred early on Thursday (September 29) morning involving school buses of two private schools.

At least two children are believed to have been rushed to hospital, taken to the intensive care unit. Their condition remains unknown as of posting time, and no confirmation came from official sources.

The accident occurred near Mussaffah area. Sections of Khaleej Al Arabi Street, which leads to Mussaffah Road, were closed off to vehicular traffic between 7:30am and 9am.
