A driver had to be airlifted to hospital after he sustained severe injuries in a car accident in the Emirates Hills compound on Monday night.
The accident, which took place in Meadows 7 at 9.30 pm, involved a Corvette and a taxi, whose driver was severely injured.
The road where the accident took place has been the scene of many accidents involving taxis, as there are roadworks in the area, and there is a lack of clear warning signs and lights.
