A new road connecting Abu Dhabi and Dubai is set to be complete by the end of the year, said officials at the Abu Dhabi General Services Company (Musanada).
The 62km highway, under construction since 2014, is an extension of Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Road (E311), Gulf News reported.
It is expected to ease congestion on the existing E11 Abu Dhabi-Dubai highway or Shaikh Maktoum Bin Rashid Road.
