Relief for bus commuters

In my community report published in Gulf News on September 4, 2010, I had written about the need for one more NOL card machine in the Naif Park bus stop in Deira. This bus stop is one of the biggest bus stops in Dubai.

I always saw long queues in front of the NOL card machine on a daily basis. This year, in the first week of October, the Roads and Transport Authority installed one more NOL card machine in the Naif Park bus stop.

Now commuters are recharging their NOL cards very conveniently and comfortably without standing in a queue.

After this report was published in Gulf News, RTA took action immediately and installed more NOL card machines in Dubai area for commuters within one year.Thank you very much to the RTA for installing more NOL card machines and to Gulf News for publishing my report.
