Dubai: Planning a journey in Dubai has become even easier as the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has updated its online journey planner – Wojhati.
The app, that is available on all mobile platforms, allows commuters to plan their journey from any place in the city, using any mode of transport.
As part of its efforts to continuously improve its services, RTA has now updated the app with new features such as saving of last five search results, display of route maps as well as all available options from a particular point.
“The update to the interface of Wojhati comes within RTA’s efforts to encourage use of the Wojhati system among public transport users,” said Eisa Al Hashemi, Director of Planning and Business Development at RTA’s Public Transport Agency.
He noted that among the features added to Wojhati are new details about the journey from the moment of entering the journey details, besides saving the last five journeys.
“The new features also include displaying the Area Map; which in turn displays the routes passing by the area along with the Route Map. Once the user inserts the Route No, the entire route will be displayed as well as the sequence of stops along the route,” he added.
The new interface also displays bus timetables and stops and enables accurate calculation of the fare without visiting the NOL portal as was the case with the old interface of Wojhati. More info
