RTA launches new Ferry and Water Bus lines
The Marine Transport Dep’t at Public Transport Agency, Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), has unveiled new lines for the Dubai Ferry and the Water Bus starting from November 1st 2013, coinciding with the 4th Public Transport Day 2013.
Bus catches fire at Jumeirah Beach Residence in Dubai
A 14-seater bus was gutted by fire at Jumeirah Beach Residence today. A Dubai Civil Defence team were able to extinguish the fire shortly after. It is not clear if there were any passengers on board the bus, but no injuries were reported.
Dubai Marina residents see red over roadworks
Driving into Dubai Marina, on the stretch of road behind Jumeirah Beach Residence, takes a lot longer than expected. The roads, which were once meant to be wide and meandering have reached a narrow bottleneck, tapering to one lane in certain spots, most notably by the Marina Promenade.
