Bus Route 15, serving the Al Quoz area, was introduced earlier this month, as well as two feeder bus routes serving Oud Metha area (F18) and Discovery Gardens (F42), starting from December 1, 2013.

Route 15 departs from Al Ghubaiba bus station and serves the Al Khail Gate communities, passing through Industrial Areas 1, 2, and 3. En route, it passes along Al Fahidi Metro Station, Satwa Mosque, Jumeirah Post Office and Safa Municipal Centre.

The feeder bus route F18 starts from Oud Metha Metro Station, drives through Oud Metha 11 and 12 Streets, and serves the American Hospital and Lamcy Plaza en route.

The feeder bus route F42 departs from Nakheel Harbour Metro Station and serves Discovery Gardens 1 to 12, however, this feeder bus does not operate on Fridays.

Per the same date, the bus route running between International City and Warsan (Route 333) was cancelled.
Further, three bus routes have been curtailed per December 1. On Route 44 and C4 the Lamcy Plaza loop has been curtailed, as this location will be served by the new F18 feeder bus route.

Route 42 has been curtailed at GGICO metro station in order to create better connectivity in the Gharhoud area, while Route 88 has been curtailed at Deira City Centre to improve integration with Sharjah-bound intercity buses.

Two bus routes have been diverted, known to be F12, now passing through Mankhool Road in order to provide fast connectivity to Jafiliya metro station, and Route 4, 43, and 11a, modified at Airport Terminal 1 to reduce overall travel time. More info
